Northeast Ohio Performer, Alex Angelo To Open Pitbull Concert at Youngstown’s Covelli Centre, Have Southern Park Mall Meet and Greet
Singer, DJ, dancer, radio host, and Northeast Ohio-native, Alex Angelo, will open the Southwoods Concert for the Valley II starring Latin Grammy Award-winning artist, Pitbull, when he comes to Youngstown’s Covelli Centre on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Born in Fort Myers, Florida, and raised in Niles, Ohio, Alex Angelo began his musical journey at the age of 7-years-old when he started dancing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Growing up, he quickly became accustom to DJ equipment, tinkering with his father’s iPad before investing in his own Technics 1200 DJ Turntable.
In 2014, shortly after releasing his debut EP, “THIS IS THE BEGINNING,” Alex went on two national tours with “What About Love” singer-songwriter, Austin Mahone. Since then, Alex Angelo has opened for a roster of superstar artists including Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, and now Mr. Worldwide.
Currently, Alex studies dance in Los Angeles with esteemed choreographer, Flii Stylz, (Chris Brown, Usher, and Missy Elliot) and just released his latest single, “Gypsy,” which is available on iTunes, Spotify, and all digital music retailers.
