Latin Grammy Award winner and Billboard chart-topper Pitbull will appear at Southwoods Concert for the Valley II on Saturday, July 15 at the Covelli Centre. Southwoods’ Concert for the Valley was created last year to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods. Ed Muransky, President and CEO of The Muransky Companies and Southwoods Health, sees the concert as giving back to the community in many ways, including bringing exciting, big name artists to the Mahoning Valley. Last year’s inaugural event featured a sold out Lionel Richie performance.
“The Covelli Centre and their team have been instrumental partners in our quest to build upon last year’s success,” said Muransky. “Our concept for the event has been two-fold; we want to give back to the community, and we want to celebrate it as well. Pitbull is no exception and builds upon those themes. It will be an incredible party!”
