Covelli Enterprises’ storied commitment to the valley has been extended by the official signing of a five-year agreement to continue the naming rights’ sponsorship of The Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown. With its continued partnership, Covelli Enterprises has given the downtown entertainment facility its longest withstanding naming rights’ sponsorship since first opening its doors in 2005; a celebrated partnership that reaches beyond a name but grants an identity to a building that reaches audiences near and far from the Youngstown area.

Sam Covelli, Owner/CEO of Covelli Enterprises, reflects on the enduring relationship and pledge to the community: “When our company agreed to put our name on the Centre in 2009, we did it because of our commitment to the community and our belief in Eric Ryan and his team to turn the Centre around. In the past seven years, with the overwhelming support of this community what has happened at the Centre has exceeded my expectations,”

The five-year extension includes a $200,000 commitment per year from Covelli Enterprises from May 2016-April 2019, with an increased $225,000 annual commitment from May 2019 through April 2021. “It makes me very pleased to continue our relationship with Covelli Enterprises because it is a relationship that progresses and grows with every year. We are privileged to be associated with the Covelli family’s distinguished legacy and work hard every year to honor that legacy with an event schedule that provides the best possible entertainment to our valley,” remarks President of JAC Management Group, Eric Ryan.

Covelli Enterprises’ support surpasses its monetary contribution to the building; its brand is allied with strength, success, and growth which subsequently has rooted the facility’s identity with the same attributes and associations. In addition, Covelli Enterprises has offered unprecedented efforts in the promotion of the centre and its events. As Eric Ryan explains, “The Covelli Family is first and foremost very prideful to be from and part of the valley and that is certainly evident in their numerous charitable endeavors. It is in that spirit of ‘giving back’ in which they whole heartedly invest of themselves to assist in making The Covelli Centre a success with additional support in our event marketing, moral support, and the overall pride they have in our valley. ”

Covelli Enterprises’ tenure as naming rights’ sponsor of The Covelli Centre began in 2009 and since then world renowned acts such as Elton John, Carrie Underwood, Barry Manilow, KISS, Lionel Richie, Brad Paisley, Rod Stewart, Cirque Du Soliel, James Taylor, Guns and Roses, and Rascal Flatts have featured The Covelli Centre on their tour schedules.
